Onyx seems tailor-made for large chaps in white suits with whopping great cigars and rake thin girls. But as it goes the bar draws a fairly open mixture of locals, businessmen and in-the-know travellers. Track it down in the recently launched Do & Co hotel, which has set up shop in the iconic - and controversial - Haas Haus. The barmen know their stuff here, so you can rest assured that no one will cock up your cocktail. Customers can also drop in for lunch between 12 and 3, and if you like your coffee served at gargoyle level, this is your baby.
