This club takes itself rather seriously as a pioneer of futuristic sounds, hence the worthy intro:'Rhiz is a junction between the structure of society, and in particular between the net of all kinds of the so called new media, which is permanently growing, condensing and shifting.' Hmmm, so it's not quite your Top Banana style university piss-up then. But if you're a dedicated electronica head, you'll be in virtual heaven here. Expect abstract sounds that offer plenty of goatee-stroking action, complemented by a series of grainy multimedia projections. A fully stocked bar wraps it all up, and in summer the programme extends itself to include splashes of more upbeat fare such as jazz .
