Cafe Aida

|
Although unknown on foreign shores, Aida is a major concern here in Vienna with some twenty-six strings to its bow. But there's more to love than hate at this cheerful chain. With their perky 50's decor and all-pervasive pink colour code, Aida is a pleasant enough spot for a caffeine pit-stop. Expect quality beans, not granulated coffee in a plastic cup. Aida also offers all kinds of cakes, dished up by waitresses in pink aprons and hats. Aida has it's detractors, but we think it has oodles more character than the insipid Starbucks of this world. Drop into this outlet on Wollzeile and make up your own mind. |

I love Aida! After cold days of shopping, it's a cozy place to warm up in with a cup of hot chocolate! Order the HOMEMADE hot choc w whipped cream- a bit more cost wise, but soooo delicious! My husband aslo loves the banana layered cake. Wish I were sitting there now!
