Cantinetta Antinori

Antinori is one of the grandest names in Tuscan wine and their flagship bar in Florence is an old world charmer where Roger Moore would feel right at home. Three select restaurants are now flying the Antinori flag beyond the land of Leonardo, and you can track them down in Zurich, Moscow and here in Vienna. As you'd expect, they take their wine pretty seriously,as they do procuring the best Italian produce. Quality is first class but don't expect the cosy experience of the Florentine number. The Vienna restaurant seems to attract a slightly chromium-plated crowd, and it's a firm fixture on the business lunch circuit. All the same, if you're after a suave Italian restaurant that delivers the gastronomic goods, you're in safe hands here.

Quite formal atmosphere but can't deny the quality of the food. Delicious.
