Bodega Marques

|
A superb example of how the Viennese are exploring new pastures, Marques is the creation of a local who fell head over heels for the Spanish way. Being incorrigible Hispanophiles ourselves, we can't deny an unholy bias here. But we're confident that you'll be won over too. It's in summer that the place really comes into its own, with the dreamy setting on the Parisergasse. Gambas al Ajillo, calamari and boquerones all beckon, washed down by some well chosen Spanish wines. The perfect way to kick off an evening. That said, the quality is so good that you may find it hard to move on.... |

Classic wine bar thingy with nice olives. They have also exported this brand to other countries because I also went into the Bodega Marques in Krakow, Poland as well. Nice if you like wine bars, but nothing amazingly original.
