Man Ditches Marital Didget

In a defiant move, he cut off his ring-finger and presented it to his ex-wife, ring intact.

As it turned out, this was not the last word in the relationship. The man's former spouse has filed for dangerous harassment, and a preliminary hearing has just been completed.

"It was an act of breaking free,'' the defendant declared, who claims that he is getting on fine without the missing didget. He added that he had no plans to marry again, and thus has no pressing need for the finger's return.
