It may sound like a Monty Python joke, but you can rest assured that Krapfenwaldbad is an entirely wholesome place. Indeed, this expansive thermal bath is one of the best loved swimming pools in the city, replete with charming old-fashioned changing rooms and an invigorating mountain setting. It's a little out of the centre, but you're rewarded by the magnificent views over Vienna and the surrounding vineyards. Jump on the north-bound bus 38A and alight at Krapfenwaldbad (OK, lets call it KWB) . Bear in mind that the pool gets packed in Summer so it's not a place for a quiet day out.

Terrific when the weather is hot - a Vienna institution!

Greaaat, beautifull place!! With a fantastic view over the city of Vienna! I recommend all of you to go there and it is not expensive, for the conditions that they offer!
I spent funny days in that pool!!:))))

it's a nice place, but more of a "see and be seen" pool.
you lie around, check out the other guests, get checked out ... then jump in the pool to cool off.

forget about swimming laps. this is a social meeting place, complete with assorted great bodies, horrible bodies and topless sunseekers.

Great fun! If a little crowded.
