Schokov sounds a bit like a shady character from a Cold War thriller. Then again, death by chocolate isn't such a bad way to go. Travellers can root out this chocolate diamond over in sleepy Spittelberg, an area that has plenty of tricks up its sleeve. Owner Thomas Kovazh (aka Tomkov) has filled a fresh, modern space with a riot of colour. One side of the shop is dedicated to Austrian confections, and the other casts its net over the rest of the planet. One to try is Salzburg chocolatier Berger, whose dark chocolate with strawberry and pepper makes for a tasty treat. More adventurous souls should turn to the funky Zotter bars - flavours here range from the bonkers Banana Curry to Pumpkin Seeds with Marzipan. Faced with all this choice, you may find yourself wanting to linger. Children won't be disappointed if you do as there's a little playroom on hand for some merry mayhem.
