The British Bookshop

|
The main branch of the British Bookshop is located in a sleepy part of town with much to recommend it (although come to think of it, most of Vienna is on the sleepy side of things so perhaps that doesn't really narrow it down...) Still, bookworms will find plenty to get stuck into here. The staff are smiling and swift to help - they won't leave you wandering around like a lost sheep. Besides brief sections on Austrian culture and history, the shop really comes into its own with the extensive selection of fiction, both modern and classic. And if you're settling in Vienna with the whole family, there's a decent range of children's books too. |
