Manner

Back in 1898, a moustachioed chocolatier named Josef Manner launched what was to become Vienna's favourite snack. It was a relatively straightforward wafer with layers of hazelnut cream, but it won the hearts - and stomachs - of the Viennese and the company has never looked back. Amongst Manner's millions of Austrian fans we find none other than Herr Arnie Schwarzenegger, who immortalised the biccies in sci-fi epic Terminator 3. As tension mounts in the closing scenes, a peckish Arnie bursts into a gas station and grabs a fist full of Manner.
