Demel Shop

|
Adjoining their main cafe, Vienna's sweetest address has a dainty baroque salon devoted to chocolates and other sugary creations. Demel offers some of the most beautifully packaged chocolates under the sun, with classic (and rather kinky) choices such as the famed 'Langues du Chat' (Cat's Tongues). The good news is that you shouldn't end up a victim of style over substance as although they say never judge a book by its cover, the tastiness of these chocs does live up to the loveliness of the wrappers. True, they don't come for the price of a Cadbury's Cream Egg, but for professional playboys, they're several cuts above your standard Mozart chocs at the airport. Casanova would approve. |
