Reimer

This small sweetshop on Wollzeile wins a bagful of points for charm, and it doesn't do too badly in the taste stakes either. Reimer is a family-run spot, and they rustle up all kinds of sweet distractions. Their handmade marzipan figures are a children's favourite, with mischievous crocodiles, kangaroos and dinosaurs all jostling for attention. These make fantastic decorations for birthday cakes, but they're plenty of fun on their own too. Should you go ahead and gobble them up just as they are? That is a question! Besides the decorations, Reimer lays on a range of imaginatively made sweets. The shop's been around for over sixty years but they don't boast about it.
