Beiges and browns predominate in this family-run hotel near the Graben. It's a reasonable enough place if you want to be close to the action. That said, action is probably not the right word in Vienna as the main draw of the city is its laid-back style. So, the Hotel Wandl is perfectly positioned let's say. Inside you'll find rooms in singles, doubles, triples and suites. The style is vaguely nostalgic and not overly entrancing. Staff can be a tad on the surly side, but always on the ball. The location could prove to be the decisive factor with this old-fashioned option.
