Hotel Imperial

Formally opened by Emperor Franz Joseph in 1873, the Imperial lives up to its name in flamboyant style. If you've had enough of all that minimalism caper, here's the antidote. No shrinking violet, the Imperial lays it on like a Habsburg wedding cake. The suites are Ancien Regime at it's most frilly, and you'll even get a personal butler. Those slumming it in the normal rooms shouldn't feel too put out as the building is palatial throughout. Don't miss the chance to try the Imperial Torte in the cafe downstairs, or why not just ask Herr Jeeves to bring one up to the room?
