Secreted away in the the so-called 'Spargelburg' (Asparagus Castle) the Residenz offers an exquisite alternative to your conventional grand hotel. This magnificent palace was originally built by the Saxe-Coburg's, who were related to half the reigning houses of Europe. Nowadays, part of the palace provides the home to a swish little hotel.
