Hotel Drei Kronen

|
'The Three Crowns' can be found just beyond the Ring in a classic turn of the century townhouse. It's bang on the Schleifmuhlgasse, a hip port of call with Vienna's arty crowd. Cafes, bookshops and more have all sprung up in recent times, whilst the Museumsquartier itself is in easy striking distance. The hotel offers 41 unpretentious rooms, mostly doubles. As it goes, The Drei Kronen has been in the same hands - the Adler family - for over thirty years now. If you look very closely, you should be able to spot three crowns on the upper facade - Bohemian, Hungarian and Austrian - dating back to the times of Emperor Franz Joseph. | |
